The research group Urban Projects, Collective Spaces and local identities invites you to the webinar “Co-producing inclusive public spaces in barrios populares” (sessions 1,2 and 4 to be held in Spanish and session 3 in English) which will take place on Oct. 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th.

The event is part of the activities of the project SURLab (A VLIR-UOS South Initiative Project 2020-2022 that brings together academics, students, inhabitants, and local actors through a combination of seminars, workshops, and parallel academic courses, etc…).

This project by prof. Yves Schoonjans & drs. Xavier Mendez of the research group ‘Urban Projects, Collective Spaces & Local Identities’ & prof. Hans Leinfelder the research group ‘P.PUL’ is in full collaboration with the Institute for Research and Innovation in Habitat, Design and Construction (IHADIC, prof. Chunga & prof. Pozo), Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil & the Sustainable Cities Research Group (LlactaLAB, prof. Hermida), Universidad de Cuenca, Ecuador. They will work together with inhabitants, local government, neighborhoods’ associations and NGO´s.
