In collaboration with the University of Prishtina, KU Leuven is organizing a two-day workshop on the three-step \u2018Interactive Walking\u2019 methodology, which maps the significance of the building of the former \u2018Rilindja\u2019 printing house. University of Prishtina\u2019s Master students from the Faculty of Architecture and Bachelor students from the Department of Anthropology will be trained to conduct fieldwork using this methodology, tracing the spatial memories of built heritage. By gathering on-site information in collaboration with the local community, students will combine various representational mediums as knowledge-supporting objects, including drawings, models, and other forms, into \u2018objects of speech\u2019. The final results will be showcased in an exhibition, providing a platform for dialogue with the community.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Njom\u00ebza Mulhaxha<\/a> as part of her PhD research \u2018The Role of Community Heritage in the Process of Post-conflict Recovery\u2019, at the Faculty of Architecture, KU Leuven (Belgium), supervised by Gis\u00e8le Gantois <\/a>(Urban Projects,Collective Spaces and Local Identities) & Peter Vermeersch (LINES).<\/p>\n
