Njomëza Mulhaxha is a PhD researcher at KU Leuven, focusing on spatial representation and community heritage in architecture. She holds the title Master of Technical Sciences in Architecture from the University of Prishtina and has participated in the Erasmus+ exchange program at Hochschule Anhalt, Germany. Previously, she worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Prishtina, primarily in design studios for public architecture.
Njomëza’s project, entitled “The Role of Community Heritage in the Process of Post-Conflict Recovery,” with cases in Kosovo supervised by Professor Gisèle Gantois (Research Group ‘Urban Projects, Collective Spaces and Local Identities’) and co-supervised by Professor Peter Vermeersch (Faculty of Social Sciences – LINES) is part of the ‘Restoring Broken Journeys’ research project that explores an alternative approach to heritage studies in post-conflict societies.
